So, they want a shower. Mate will do it, he is a plumber. 2 spare ways in the board, no prob...just put another breaker in. Simples

This was EXACTLY as I found it when I opened the cupboard door. NOTHING has been moved / removed.

I explained to the Landlord that there were a couple of minor niggles with it.

SPEECHLESS,did you find it supported like that?

with skyhooks and fairydust?

I dont know what to say..........
I know what I would like to say, but I would probably have to ban myself for a few weeks if I did. If they do this on parts that are accessible, what do they do on the hidden stuff?

Doc H.

No joke....EXACTLY as I found it!The 'Flying MCB'....I believe it to be the way forward. No messing about with Din rails, enclosures [was in a cupboard though], space restrictions etc.
I guess you can run more amps through the MCB because it has better ventilation?

Thats got to be sent to esc. Maybe they can include it in the "why to get a proper sparks in" leaflet.

I think I can see why you are upset now. Looks like its missing a grommet where the cable comes out of the db.

The grommet?

whats the betting the neutral insulation has been nicked when he made his first incision into the cable to pull out the line?

Apart from any "tradesman" being incompetent enough to do a job like that, it's astounding that the customer accepted it and didn't question if the job had been done properly.

Did the customer actually pay someone to do that? if so the person who did it needs reporting to trading standards at least.

I don;t use banjos any more. Not now God invented piranha nuts.

just buy a decent ball end allen key, 'BETA' are my make of choice.

as for the pics,

really truly outstanding,

I could live without the grommet and the banjo not being tagged if that was even the half of it............

Ball ended hex keys are VERY useful!

I have mm & inch angle ones in my box both of them!

Tool boxes that is!

Not yet gone down the road of ball ended hex screwdrivers though!

I concur with the making it easier bit!
