Hi chaps

I have to rewire sockets in a ground floor flat. the flat above is just carpeted and decorated. I can access half from the cellar.

How would you do the rest? Behind the coving? I guess the skirting is out of the question? Any other ideas?

The guy is on a budget so no chance of taking the celing down but I could get the old man to redo the coving.

Thanks

Looks like its the coving then . We did a flat in that way , its a safe zone anyway . Chases down to plugs etc and switch wires fished across the chambers with the minature rods.

Doubt it Mr Wingarde, bound to be full of the gunge they stick it up with . We clipped twin /E as tight to the top corner as possible then the coving guy followed us up . Theres probably a Regulation against it but what can you do with concrete ceilings and a flat above.

The guys around here who are doing the council rewires are doing it with coving trunking and then MT down to the switches and sockets,,, I hope that they are fishing across to the centre light;)

Thanks deke Is it possible to fish behind the coving? Then I suppose it depends on what muppet put it up
Spose it depends on if its that Polystyrene stuff of plaster stuff,

and if deep or shallow???

Then you will probably find its got the plumbers pipes behind it already!!!!!!

Only a suggestion and it may have limited applications, but if the floor is not

going to be carpeted floor sockets MAY be an option. I have seen doubles in

brushed stainless with spring mounted cover for under
