They do look great and very practical , but there's no chance I could turn up on someones doorstep wearing one of them lol

Thanks Sam for saying that. Took the words out of my mouth. I just couldn't wear that either. They should of made that in bright yellow material so it doubles as a high vis lol it may be good to take fly fishing :)

Edit. Apologies if anyone uses on of these I didn't mean to take the p just joking :)

Same here, only ever seen one (agency) sparky wearing a ck vest on a comercial job, a nice new shiney set of tools & just out the bag CK vest set...... funny enough he didnt last long & was kicked off the job (he was just as shiney & new out the bag)............. I'm sure I posted some pictures of his work from this job in the black museum.

yeah on second thoughts they do look like a jacket version on steroids of a swiss army knife lol

I bought a black snickers one about a year ago, got fed up with the tool belt getting over loaded.

Anyhow, soon overloaded the tool vest, but what put me off was people kept telling me they had seen them on 60 second make over I think, the one with the scouse (couscous on spell check)big brother guy or t**t to his friends.

when i worked for the council, there was someone who had something similar. and a toolbelt

usually walked round with his entire 'toolbox' all day, every day

and he didnt usually do much. most tools probably never got used

i hate toolbelts, in fact i cant get on with any belts at all.

I recently ordered some new work trousers and either Ive lost weight (unlikely) or they have been cut a bit on the generous side. I spend more of my working day hitching them back up than working, and the same goes for a tool belt.

I need some hips lol

i bought a plato apron at the last elex at Cov

only use it on rewires,,,same as my tool belt

i quite like the vest though for working at height

there is a guy i see at the wholesalers who has one similar,,,,,,,,,,, all i see him with is a volt stick and a small screwdriver

he also has trousers with 500 pockets !!!!!

nice guy though
