Hi

Has any body fitted these heat pads that stick to the back of bathroom mirrors ? Manufacturers not very helpful just say connection from flex supplied with pad to T+E must be IP44 and 60cm from sink (not a reg I know)

Fortunately I think they are tiling up to not under the mirror (tiles floor to ceiling) not tiling behind then fitting it.

Would it be feasible to chase in a heat shrink/crimp joint as this is possible.

I have a similar query regarding an illuminated mirror that I may need to provide a supply for in my shower room... so I will be interested to know too.

Well...

First answer.. NO.. I have not not fitted them:(

But..

:)

providing it is 60mmm / 60cm / 0.6m from the edge of a bath or shower...

it is OUTSIDE OF ANY ZONES..

so can be whatever you want!

look at the pictures on page 71 & page 72 of On Site Guide...

Figs 8.1, 8.2, 8.3..

ALL have a hand basin.. AND A MIRROR shown on them.....

I cant see any problems TBH! :| :)
