Cann you convert w plan to y plan central heating

Hello Jonnyboy c, I have move this post to our central heating section. I understand 'W' and 'Y' plans are physically different valve types. If the valve is replaced then the wiring should be reasonably easy to sort out. No doubt others will correct me if I am wrong.

Correct Doc, the difference between a W and Y plan is just the valve so to swap between the 2 you'd just need to change the valve and alter the wiring slightly.
