I appreciate your honesty, even though you don't know the job yet!

IMHO being completely straight will get you a long way.

It is a complex problem, I am dealing with the end user & the machine manufacturer over it at the moment.

Several machine parts have been changed & half the building has been rewired and the problem remains!!!

I will continue to try to recover all of the fault details...

I havn't been very active since I joined the Forum. I had beter tell you all that"Junior member" is a little bit flattering since I finished my apprenticeship in 1965. You had to be 21 to be qualified then. I'll leave the maths to you.
