Hi

Just recently joined up to the boards in the hope I can get some help and maybe offer what little advice I can to the community.

I'm 21, currently studying my NVQ 2 second year and getting very very close to my unit 206 practical in like 3 days.. (which I'm absolutely cr*pping myself about, only had one day to practice steel conduit lol).

I'm addicted to PC gaming, often find myself playing when I should be revising but I always manage to squeeze time in when I can.

I tend to think too far ahead and end up slipping up doing practicals, I've remedied that but 6 hours is going to put me under pressure .

in any exam I always try to pick up easy marks where I can, leave the stuff you find harder to the end, that way if something goes badly it doesn't knock your confidence for the easy bits!

I am an admin at steambans and cover all games related to steam and the hl engine, addiction is not good

I am also an electrician some regs on this forum may dispute that

but I am old enough to be their grandfather so they let me decend into my senile dementia.

Its a good friendly forum here to any problems ask away.

Just an update.

I've been ill with flu the past week, been heavily sedated to try and get better for my 206 (which was yesterday) and I managed to pass with Credit with only 10 minutes to spare :^O

my legs are absolutely killing me today though and woke up at 6am thinking how the hell did I get through it .

oh and I got Distinction in my Installation and pass in test/inspection, would've got a higher mark in test and inspect if I would have remembered why you do R1/RN on ring main, I know now though XD.

1 more exam next week (205 I think) and a few more practicals/books to complete .
