Hello,

Not an electrician but a clankey. Doing up the house so will probably be asking for lots of help, especially when I get round to the garage which needs new sockets on a ring protected with an RCD and my consumer unit is a Wylex without an RCB but with mcb's and a spare way, but that's all for another day!

Welcome to the forum, why does your garage need a ring, what sort of power do you intend supplying in there?

Hi

I have a washing machine in there at the moment, her indoors wants a tumble drier and I need sockets above the workbenches for hand tools, (Drill angle grinder etc) Thought I should do it properly and get it inspected before I turn it on.
