I take it the last picture is one of your own!
It shows how unprepared he was for the Brexit negotiations.

The Europeans waited two years for the British government to actually state what sort of a future they wanted.

Airy fairy tales of trade deals with China and India aren't exactly coming to fruition either.

I think the Brexit crisis is a little bit more important than sniffer dogs to be honest.

It's hardly of critical national importance, these dogs are routinely euthanised when they reach the end of their service life. So it's a bit hypocritical to pretend that the establishment holds these dogs in high esteem.

I don't doubt your compassion for these dogs Phil. But in the grand scheme of things, what can you expect.
Not so, most of these dogs when they come out of service live out the rest of their days with either the handler or another person, they are only euthanised if they are very ill. As for Brexit it just shows how corrupt, inept, stupid and self serving our politicians are. There has been far too much interference by people who have no right getting involved, and personally I think if you pushed it then you could cause a lot of grief using the data protection act.

Look at it this way, our PM is Theresa May, she leads the government and SHE is the one who should be doing the negotiating, so how come we've had the likes of Kier Starmer, Boris Johnson, and several others including Jeremy Corbyn have been over to Brussels 'negotiating'? If I went to your bank and tried to discuss your finances, they would and indeed should tell me to sod off, it has nothing to do with me, so how come the EU is prepared to discuss something as important as Brexit with anyone who happens to call in, it's no use having the ruling party trying to negotiate a deal and then having others stick their oar in. Too many cooks spoil the broth, as the saying goes.

In reality there will be a negotiating team, who are responsible for the Brexit, who that consists of is any bodies guess, however I suspect it isn’t JC, so clearly he has his own agenda, and knowing how party politics is here I suspect his agenda wasn’t just a complimentary Brexit chat more an alternative argument. Which does nothing than to confuse the EU, which in fairness they don’t need much help in that department.

I couldn't imagine MT in her heyday putting up with half this B/S from either the EU now Labour and I didn’t like her much but at least she had staying power to not be turned.

Jc is trying to balance his party - Labour seats represent the strongest remain and leave areas. JC himself is anti-EU has been for decades, socialist types like 'power for the people' not centralised buerocracy from outside the UK.

MT commanded respect from her party TM just doesn't, but I think her biggest failing, (apart from not involving all parties from the start) is trying to be stubborn like MT - she just can't pull that off.
