"Scoobed" matey.

No wonder it took you a week to write - the nurse said they have to replace the crayon after three words or so - and apparently you`re not much better :slap

This isn`t the first time something like this has come up - its happened two or three times, over the life of the forum.

Now, I`m NOT belittling any opinions, or "having a go" - so wind your necks in before getting your pants in a tizz

It always follows the same pattern - boy meets girl, boy wants to do things to girl, girl`s daddy kneecaps boy. sorry - wrong story. That was a long time ago :)

A member gets upset that the behaviour that used to be acceptable on "their" forum gets jumped on in here. Then we nicely explain why, and everything is rosy again, until the next time.

Actually, it IS reminiscent of kids. They do something dangerous - you tell`em off. They cry and pout and sulk, and "I don`t love you anymore"......but they DO, really. Its just a tantrum.

If nobody bothered to report posts, or the mods / admins did little to control things; we`d have anarchy, bit like the "other" forum.....

I`m happy here. I like it. I even (sort of) like the mods (though Mr. Smith IS proper scary). I don`t want things to change. "Status Quo" works for me (NOT the group, before somebody thinks it up)

I think that this thread is proving to be extremely useful.

Anyone using this forum (or any forum for that matter) for the first time may well have registered because they have a problem and so may not have had the time to familiarise themselves with the forum etiquette.

However, with regards grammar/spelling/illogical posts/randomly inserted posts - well I sometimes seriously question the abilities/approach of people who can`t take the time to put more care into their posts (and can`t help but think that this may be an indication of their approach to both their work and their customers).

I fully appreciate that some posts clearly originate from a mobile device (with all attendant problems) BUT I do not think it unreasonable for other forum users to expect sensible, clear and concise information on which to base any appropriate response.

Some of the replies posted on this forum are quite detailed and comprehensive and as such represent a considerable effort on the part of the respondents - I would hope that appreciation for such effort is shown by the OP`s in both their own responses and their willingness to become useful contributors themselves.
