Indicating LED Lamp

Can the indicating LED Lamp be wired in series with contactor coil, or does it have to be in parallel?

What "indicating LED lamp?" What coil?

If you stick an LED in series with a contactor coil, you`ll generally have problems - under normal conditions it`ll be parallel always - no matter what, to where, or why.

if its to indicate that power is at the coil, then parallel. if its to indicate the contactor has actually operated, it would need to be through an aux contact
