Info about the PAT-testing market in the UK

Hi,
I'm trying to get an overview of the UK PAT-testing ( In Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment) market and I'd be very thankful if anyone on here could provide some information. If you don't have the answers but know where to look(websites etc.) that would be very helpful also. Thanks in advance!

1. % of companies in the UK that test their appliances? I mean actually do it.

2. Of the companies testing, how many do in-house testing(%), and how many hire a company to test for them?

I don't need exact figures, just ball-park. All relevant information is helpful.

don't think youll get any useful answers to either of those questions here... how would we know the aswer to either?

Most companies and landlords PA test. I don't think many keep it in house, it's cheaper to get a Muppet with a PA tester in to stick pass labels on everything

We do our own in house, as we have to do our site stuff more frequently than the items in the building, if we’ve got to do the site stuff may as well do the rest, we don’t offer this as a service, just look after our own
