Hi,

Just a quick one.

Can someone tell me the IP Ratings for a Consumer Unit. I thought it was IP2X for the sides, bottom & front and the top should be IP4X.

Have had look through regs on Page 55 but must be missing it somewhere.

Thanks in advance for any help on this one.

those are minimums matt you make it sound specific to CU but its not

they will have different ratings

 
Try looking in a few brochures or a few sites.

Eg this board states

# P4X is maintained if foam insert is used however if this is left out it becomes IP3X# Top wall removes for easy cable access and reseals to IP4X using the two foam strips provided
