Is this dog mental or mistreated ?

I agree Matty. The way that hind leg is moving suggests to me that a wire is attached to it, however I cannot see it. Do dogs ever behave in this way ?... I'm no expert hence my question.

I can't see a wire either. I'm guessing it's a bit like a dog chasing its tail or looking at its backside when it farts.

Quite conceivable the dog has an itch that it's brain was going to scratch with back leg and dog sees something coming after his bone. I would be almost certain it wouldn't happen if the dog wasn't detracted by its bone.
