There is no mention of a seperate earth in the original post. The original poster needs to be more specific in what he is dealing with in order that specific advice can be given...........

To be honest I`v seen straight concentric cable installed with DIY sleeving at both ends to "convert" it into split con. The fact that the earth and neutral are common between the converted parts seems to have been missed....... :^O

I have never used or seen concentric cable used apart from once at a stables I have done work at. The cable feeding it is staight concentric but this is on consumer side. I think it must have been a bit that got forgotton and it is a long run too. Little bit worrying when armour is being used for neutral and cpc.

why is it worrying? i know TNC is not generally allowed, but this cable is used by many (if not all) DNO as supply to your house etc. slightly different conditions, but still
