I had a job to do tonight after dark, it was cancelled when I got there!

However, it was a real odd ball, actually measure the light levels for the EM lights. Never been asked before to do this, anyone?

Well I needed a light meter.

I found out about this job yesterday morning, I did some research on light meters and then I rung isswww to speak to Mark, he was on the phone, left a msg and my no. did not say who I was only that I had been previously discussing instruments and could he ring me back.

About 1/2 hr later my mobile rang just after 12:00 midday.

It was then I said who I was, discussed the application briefly, Mark seemed to understand the application. Quoted me, a good price. Then came the fly, in the ointment, in that I needed it today to do the job tonight. He checked with his cal guy and said he could do it, but there would be a small cost implication for the emergency cal & delivery.

Well the cost for the meter, cal & delivery was fine.

The meter turned up this morning so within 24hrs I had the light meter & it was calibrated!

Can't knock that! Especially as it was all up cheaper than the same unit with other web suppliers!

Mind the job has been cancelled to next week! :C Could have saved myself a few bob!

However, B-), also apparently it is talk like Arnold Swarzanegger day today, so needless to say, I'll be back!

Spot on small company excellent service & competitive price, with the reassurance of a big industry name to back them up.

Thanks. :Applaud Guinness for isswww (perhaps kme won't mind as they've helped him out too!)

Nice to hear good reviews I think I shall be buying my meters from him in the future. My fluke is away at the minute been away for three weeks rang the chap up monday to find out whats going on he said he would ring me back but still hasn't this service really gets my goat.

Done a couple of orders recently with ISSWWW, both orders received within 3working days (free delivery) and items all really well packed.

TBH could have got the items at the same price elsewhere but thought it best to use a respectable and recommended company who are of course our forum sponsors!

Just a note to anyone if you are thinking about purchasing the kewtech acc50mtl wander lead and use a Fluke 1651/2/3, then you also need to purchase a lead set with 4mm banana plugs on each end so that you can connect your tester to the 4mm socket on the side of the wander lead reel.

Not sure about other testers ie Megger, as my original leads that came with the fluke 1651 are the screw on type when you need to change from probes to crocodile clips.

I have now purchased the Fluke tl221 lead set which I can also use with the Kewtech lightmate kit as i can see a few others have recommended it on here. This has arrived today so will look forward to using it soon and hopefully see the benefits of my purchase.

Thanks for all the nice comments, I am always available if anyone needs any help:Salute

On the Fluke leads, The latest version (TL165X) have 4 mm connectors, the probes and crockclips push on and should be ok without any other product.

Meggers are fine too as, as mark says for the fluke, the croc's pull off and the leads are 4mm so plug into the wanter lead socket on the reel.

My wander lead has now gone for a wander with some thieving toe rag!

looks like Megger mark might be getting some repeat business.
