lol cheers  mate! I only have city & guilds testing and verification level 3 (ireland)  but on phoning city and guilds uk they wont recgonise this qualifaction even tho it was them whom santioned it they say its specially designed for irelanden tho exams are the same, they wont compare it to 2391 ev reason i bring this up is i think its necessary for optaining the card

thanks for your reply

My last jib card was gold and it only had 16th wiring regs and completed apprenticeship didn't have 2391 at the time

I was under the impression that gold was just for a spark where it was white for an apprentice

Maybe wrong though

Unless things have changed at  the JIB  your first three quallifications should be enough to be issued with a JIB card .

However they won't issue one without you do  the CSCS test  which has  cost me £40 a time in the past .

Your NVQ may mean you dont need to do the ECS health and safety, id depends on when you passed it? think it gives you three of four years grace, but with applying for a new card at the correct time you can extend this by a year.

You will be awarded electrician grade if they won't recognise your 2391. This is needed along with 2 years experience to be graded as approved.

Nice quals list though!!!!

Hi Steve hopefully im exempt from safety exam as ive heard that if u complete ur nvq3 recently it covers u, i completed mine in sept 2012
If you have done yours in the last 3 years your all good.
