Last Bank Holiday Of 2014

So,, its the last bank holiday of 2014 tomorrow and I'm having to work...

I was just wondering who else is working or do you have anything planned??

Oh,,,and its my wedding anniversary on Tuesday,,, working again (19 years)

I will be trying to catch up on all the jobs that will "not be able to do" later on in the month.....you know why

So it will be...

Cutting grass

Throwing all the rotting apples back over the fence into neighbours garden

Gutters need cleaning

Decking needs cleaning and oiling

Car needs cleaning

Car needs loading and sorting for tuesdays job

VAT return

Drinking Merlot

Thats about it really

Just thought....are not christmas day and boxing day Bank Holidays? Or are they Public Holidays or summat?

I'm working today.

but our holidays are different and it's not a BH here.

BUT I knew it was a BH coming up darn sarf.  On Friday I was listening to the radio and the traffic news came on. the M5, M6 and M25 were car parks.  

Makes me glad I'm not still down there. I used to dread the Friday before the August BH when the A34 (that was my route to and from work) also became a car park.

Tuesday we hope to go out on our floaty saily thing.

Well, i have never heard of Charismas Day so I cannot even guess. For all i know, which is **** all, it could be Charismas day every day

However , if you mean Christmas day then I would hazard a guess at every "every year"

last bank hol is boxing day in wales..... motorways are car parks today aparrently but I'm 100 miles from the nearest one so don't care However, its been raining but looks like its getting better so off out for a run shortly. Just signed up for Cardiff Half marathon on 5th Oct so need some training. Mrs RevJ and son just out blackberrying so nice 22/7 later....

And what a **** day it was, this not so last bank holiday if the year..

1st part of the job took twice as long as I thought. Then as I was catching up on time I went and put my foot through the ceiling (2nd time in 10 years). Then one of the downlights that I was fitting had a pin in the socket so it wouldn't plug in..

Thankfully though even with all these problems I've caught up on my time,, even I'd it is going to cost me to have the ceiling patched

I worked today, even tho im hanging from a late festival gig last night. Just waiting for kids to settle and Im off to bed

On a good note tho, got to see Big country who were ****ing awesome
