so what was your last (paid) job of the year?

mine was changing an oven element on thursday... fairly boring job, but the only job i could be bothered to go do this week

CU change in a flat on Thursday that came to a halt on the pre-works test, only to find a dangerous 3-phase supply swinging in the wind in an open (no door) basement cupboard I've got pictures but still don't know how to upload them so hopefully admin reads this post and I will email them to him for upload! Happy new year everyone

Looked at a job today and friday morning (7:00am :_| )

Last job was two days of maintenancey stuff (lamping, ballasts ect) at a school and dorms wednesday and thursday. Although I wont be paid for a while yet.

my last job was about 20 minutes ago at a callout at 7.15 pm! to stop an intruder alarm goig off, made safe now and all is quite in staffordshire again. :slap just got to wait for client to get back in new year to sort out and replace to new alarm, old alarm was 1983 on pcb. old logic 4 panel :coat

To replace a faulty pull cord light switch in a bathroom on Friday.

Unpaid job.

That's because I replaced the switch just over a week ago (which I was paid for) and the flipping new switch had failed, so had to be replaced again at my own expense. :z

30th Dec.

Call out to 3ph compactor in large local hotel on behalf of another member who is off sunning himself in luxury, whilst I was doing his work in the cold and rain! ; (

Before that last job was Wed 21st finishing off pollution control system repair.

Had not planned to do much after the 18th anyway TBH, so this job ran on.

Boxing day (at my folks) installing BT cabling & outlet, fitting bathroom towel rail & replacing panel heater................payment......whats that.

Thursday installing a bathroom extractor fan & on to the pir at primary school, the chap dropped round payment in the pm for the extactor....
