Last light off PIR flickers every 10 seconds when on?

Hi, I have a switch, which goes to a PIR, then off to 3 garden galvanised lights, with bayonet fitting LED bulbs, the first two light work as expected when triggered by the PIR, however, when the others are on, the third just flickers brightly for 1 second every 10-12 seconds?  I have checked my wiring and cannot see anything obvious.

Any Ideas any one?

Over what distance are these lights spread out?
The distance from the junction box is 9 mtrs to the 1st light, then another 3mtrs to the 2nd and another 6 to the 3rd that flickers, all using 2.5mm 4 core armoured cabling (only using 2 Live/Neutral)

Don't rule out a faulty light fitting, either a poor connection in the manufacturers wiring or a faulty lamp holder.

BUT as you are using a 4 core cable and only using 2 cores are you ABSOLUTELY sure you have connected the correct 2 at the end light fitting. That's where my money is.

Yes loads of ideas,  First what exactly does the phrase I have checked my wiring mean?  Is that a DIY person opening something  up looking and assuming everything is ok without taking any actual test readings?  Or is that proper dead tests of the amended circuit including continuity and insulation resistance tests as per BS7671 wiring regulations?  You mention 2.5mm 4 core armoured cable? how exactly are these terminated?  Glands and joints in a suitable box with the lamp wiring tee'd off the box? Or are they direct connections into the light fitting? Who on earth decided that four core armoured 2.5mm was needed for 18m run of LED lights? Your problem could be at the out going connections at the previous lamp in the circuit to the one that actually flickers. I think the whole set up probably needs proper testing of all joints and connections.

Saw something recently where there was damp in the switch .....

Shame the OP hasn't updated us .............. there seems to be a number of things that don't add up............

I had a broken calculator like that once.

All resolved, you can blame my crappy checking of the wiring, there was a loose neutral to the last flickering LED , I'm assuming the LED could get enough to cause it to flicker, just not sure why it was a regular 11 seconds.

Possibly related to the 50Hz alternating cycle of the 230v AC supply and the electronics inside the LED lamp converting this down to a safe DC level this will not blow the Light Emitting Diodes?
