I needed to sound this out and get options and that is what I got.

However, I have to play devils advocate as there are around 20 installs like this, some easier to change than others.
They were done under the supervision of one of my clients electrical engineers.
They will all be 16th Ed installs I believe.
I got this client in 2010, these types of installs had been stopped a couple of years before this.
Also I have not seen one done with the new colours, there are no stickers on the installs for next inspection date.
So in summary we have the possibility so far of:
132.1.2, 134.1, 314.1, 314.2, 445.1.1, 510.3.
I'm going to print these out to look at & then see if I can put them into my report as reasons why we should not have the RCD remote, plus I may add the fact that the SWA does not need it.
The reg I thought of last night, I can't find either!!!
An RCD needs testing every 3 months, the medical equipment needs testing every 6 months, so, the hospital techs service & test the medical equipment every 6 months, however, there is the possibility that they won't have access to the location of the RCD to test this, therefore it could go untested...
Only regs I can think of at the moment for this would be 134.1.1, 611.2.
Due to them requiring test every 3 months and the "tester" possibly not having access?
Anyway will add these to my print out and have a look through.
