MCB coding,

just filling out a certificate from this mornings work.. the client has a 5a NB MCB,

it does not state on the breaker if it is an BS.60908, and i cant find a max Zs value for this breaker..

any ideas ??? :coffee

60908 or 60898 Matt? it's in the BRB mate with the fault curves.

Try BS 3871 Mate, its the MCB with BS 3036 ratings yes?

is that the old wylex one,?

most likely a 3871 type 2

try looking on the side of it, remember some of these MCBs have differing kA ratings dependent on the A rating

The type 2 is on the front well it is on the ones i have and as others have said bs3871.
