Why not push the boat out, and get the posh accessory's with the little white inserts that cover the screwheads? Job done! ;)

Although they are a pain to get back out again!

after reading all these posts over the last two days, for some reason i started to line up head screws and not on purpose, it just started to come natural.

Worked in an old munitions factory. Every screw you used had to be slotted and lined up north to south to prevent explosive material gathering in them.

My method....leather the front/side of the switch with the rubber/plastic handle of a driver. plastic cover just drops out [well it does for me]... :coat

dont forget the fung shooey effects as well, if you point all the screwheads to the door all the power will go outside!
Maybe that's not so daft... I once managed to convince a house mate that there were enough 'free electrons' in the air to conduct electricity, so if you left a socket turned on with nothing plugged in, it still ending up costing you money as the power leaked out... (mind you, we also convinced her that the word gullible had been removed from the next issue of the Oxford English!)

I may well explore the screw covers option though.

I always go around turning off the switches on sockets for that same reason. Those free electrons are a pain. Electricity leakage is as dangerous as gas leakage.... you wouldnt leave a gas tap on all nigh would you?
