Oooo, ummm, let me see!! lots of stuff!!!!! I got a Megger MFT1730, seems really nice!! I got a Megger TPT220 voltage probe too...I do like this. The main reason i bought it, apart from checking dead, was so i could do quick polarity checks, you know, phase/neutral lots of voltage; Phase/earth; lots of voltage, Phase/phase, even more voltage; and neutral/earth, hopefully no voltage!!!
I did look at a Fluke T120, and that was a really really nice bit of kit, but what i liked about the megger one is that it does not trip RCD's so that when doing the above, it will not trip any RCD's. Apart from this it has a backlight that lights up automatically when it gets dark!! and if you want to trip an RCD on purpose [seeing if it works] it will do that too by pressing a button!! oh and it measures resistance too. Just to be flash [and avoiding going up in a flash myself!] i got a proving unit for it too [Fairly pointless i know, but i might do a 2391 sometime, and i supposed they will want to see you use one]
I got one of them kewtech R2 socket things, [although why not just drill holes in the back of a 13A plug and make your own], I got some jumper leads for bridging connections in CU's and i got one of them test lead extensions for the "other" method of checking CPC continuity. I got one of them lock off devices too, so some helpful person does not turn the MCB back on just as you are getting stuck in. Mind you, as far as i am concerned, in a house turn the lot of and tough to the householder [borrowed neutrals and all that]
So, lots of stuff!! They did me a really good deal and i saved about
