I hope he's remembered for the unique genius that he was. Somehow I don't think he will be unfortunately, even though he was cleared and proved innocent of every case brought against him.

Hate to disagree with you but the alleged child abuse case was settled out of court for a lot of money. Surely that must have a guilt stigma attached to it. Anyone remember Jarvis Cocker's one-man protest at an awards ceremony in this country?

You're right about his music though. Great back catalogue with both the Jackson 5 & as a solo artist although it did taper off about the time of History possible due to the Gary Glitter/Jonathon King effect.
