Back in the dark ages we were taught not more than half the number of sockets allowed as spurs, but also a money saving way of wiring a house with concrete floors would be to run a ring round with Jb,s spuring off to every downstairs socket so no actual sockets on the ring. We were also shown to wire the back half, up & down as a circuit then the front half up & down as a different circuit to save cable, contradictions ?
