MK & BG grid

anyone know if a BG grid switch will fit into a MK grid backbox? (6 way)

Take it you meant 6 gang Andy.

Wouldn't be sure but I reckon all the screw centres have to be standard so the grids may fit, but I've found that the plates don't always fit on a surface box.

its flush mounted. so im hoping the screw centre are the same.

probably get an MK box & BG frame and see if it fits

why do you need to mix?

is the MK box already there?

I cant see any issue with the frames fitting other flush back boxes,

but the frame, switch and plate must all be the same, I would think.

Mk metalcad stuff is a lot larger than BG so would not be suprised if they make it so it doesn't fit. Changing subject slightly Richmond do dimmers that fit MK grid though probably no help though.
