and this is the real grown up world...  (not school children!!!!)

more like down the pub...  or at work...  or at the Sunday league football pitch...

Where when someone drops a clanger or has an embarrassing moment...

the rest of gang/mates/pals/work colleagues etc... 

often give a little leg pulling / workplace banter / laugh & a joke etc...

Bit like Del boy calling Rodney a Plonker!!

a very basic question from a member claiming to be qualified...

pretty beedin obvious how the average real - world crowd will typically react...

this is an adult forum..  with grown up experienced electricians..   Not a school boys facebook page!

Everyone is welcome and real honest answers will often be given in a polite and non abusive manner...

Just wake up..

look at the facts...

get back into the real world..

And have a good look at the rest of the forum..

And the quality of advice that is offered month in month out by experience electricians volunteering their time and knowledge to help everyone from DIY - Students - Old timers...  etc.. etc..

Some people should actually look as the immense free resource that the forum offers..

rather than knocking members who have put hours and hours of practical advice to 100's of peoples questions.. 

BUT..

at the end of the day we can only go on what evidence we see in the post content..

If someone fibs about their abilities then its a bit of pot luck really isn't it???

Hang on Specs, , whilst you are fully correct, remember that there are also some professionally qualified electrical engineers on here as well as course lecturers etc.

So, we really do have a diverse range of skills, and a deep and valuable resource, however, the limitations of the medium are that we can only respond to whatever information is provided.

In this case the information is a little confusing to say the least!!!
