Job today was stripped pine boards and I needed to get a short length up between to joists. Circular saw would be normal choice if carpeted but this was not an option as the Circular has to cut through part of the board either side to release to the one I needed to lift plus it leaves about a 3mm cut due to blade width. This tool could do the job and hardy leave a trace.Just had a look at the video on you tube it does look a like a nice bit of kit. What would you use it for?
Cutting floorboards.
Cutting lath and plaster.
What else?
Is it a luxury tool or a must?
As it turned out I managed to use a fine jigsaw blade and held jigs plate at 45deg to control depth but there is a danger of blade bounce doing this unless you go steady.
