Hi All,

Just done a small job as follows:

Theres and existing 2.5mm feed to the garage spured from the back of a socket in the house. (Not a very long run volt drop, R1+R2 fine).

I've installed an RCD FCU 13A in the garage to supply a dso with a fcu in line to the 1.5 for the light.

My question is to certificate my work do i need one or two MWC's as there is 2 fcu's with different cable sizes and fuses?

Many Thanks:)

I agree that one MWC is all that's required. However, recently in situations like this I've taken to appending a schedule of test results to the MWC detailing all the new protective devices.

I do my certs electronically in Office, so this approach adds just a few minutes, but if you use paper you could download the model forms and just print off some schedules to use and either copy on a scanner or write out two.

If i use one mwc then what do i put in the Overcurrent protective device box because ive got the 30A in the cu 13a in the rdc fcu and then 6a for the lighting?
