Any way after carefully studying your pics.....

from your 90m of conduit..

I calculate you have about 88.5m leftover?!

 :^OROTFWLROTFWLROTFWL

I ordered the free Wago Sample that someone put on here Last Year? And the one dado? used on walls in offices etc.

I don't know if it was because I was in a rush and bought them off of am eBay seller - but the Lever wagos that I bought had very dodgey levers (I couldn't open them - Just a fraction).
 :O:O:|

oh dear.......... couldn't open the levers:yellow card

you need to have your three Shredded Wheats!

OR

Ask Admin2 to open them for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they are meant to be stiff action.....

so that when you lock them back down on the cable to don't easily pop-open again!!! headbang

Wet Fish

:C :C:C:C

even Brian can do them!

:Blushing :xGuinness

luuuuuuuuurvely patchwhat are the protective device arrangements?

pics

test sheets ?
The 'workshop' shed had a consumer unit with a main switch, a 16A radial and a 6A lighting protected by a 20A in the house consumer unit. That is split load 2 X 30mA RCD's (16th edtn)

I tested for continuity of all the conductors using some of the singles as a wander lead and all end points. All socket outlets also test OK with my plug in socket tester. I also tested the rcd.

I appreciate not perfect in terms of testing, but more than the average DIYer would do [i have verified continuity of cpc at all points]

:D

I was guessing floor board.Nice job patch. How come you didn't take the conduit to the light?
TBH my thoughts were the chances of damage occurring to the T&E on the roof very minimal. T&E a bugger to pull through the conduit and I was reluctant to buy rolls of 1.5mm in addition to the 2.5mm. So really it's a cost vs benefit compromise.

I have used most of three 3 meter lengths! Still will use it up when I swap the wiring over in my workshop - when I get the time.

:D

Nice Wago collection.

Admin clearly is weak! :D

T&E + Conduit = Not good:(

That combination can indeed be a bit of a sod.. Best Avoided....

need to keep the T&E flat.. stop it twisting...

But that said do occasional do it on shortish runs along external walls to outside lights

bit of silicone spray can ease the insertion!

Always keep a bit of this anyway for occasion push fit pluming connections..

I have some silicone spray that I use on the bed of my little planer thicknesser!

Still have to see if I can squeeze 3 X 1.5mm T&E into a short length of conduit to the switch when it arrives!

I pulled it right back and the lever was bending.

Did you get your free sample Wagobox? Was it wired up? Mine came with a 2 way push a 4 way push and a 2 way lever as an example of how to connect it up.

That was a genuine one - you could compare what you bought? They were cheaper from Wagobox than ebay when I looked!

:( :|

What were you using?

your pliers?

They should just click up like this....

wagosopen.jpg

form another angle...

You can see the little metal inside bits that come down when the lever is 'closed'.

wagosopen2.jpg

And they all close up again...

Can you spot the one that isn't a Wago???? ; \ :D :p :x

wagosclosed.jpg

I have never had any that don't open and close correctly?

:|

No they are stiff. Why not use the singles you have for the lighting, Patch?

^ here here.

Just because the cct is lighting it does not HAVE to be 1/0/1.5, 2.5 can be used and would be used on longer runs for volt drop reasons and for higher current lighting circuits.

I don't see a problem with unsing 2.5's on a lighting circuit.

I could have for the switches and the fluorescent light but the two lights on the shed wouldn't have taken 2.5mm single!
