Need help to detect problem

I have a socket that makes a loud click noise around 5 seconds after you turn off socket.The noise sounds like the same click noise you get when you turn off socket but much louder. It is only one click noise and noise does not continue. Can anyone confirm issue with socket?

Going to struggle to confirm the issue is with the socket without being there.

If you are confident in your own abilities change the socket to eliminate it, it also gives you a chance to check there is no obvious issues with the wiring behind it. Don’t forget to isolate supply before changing socket. A decent one is less than a fiver from Screwfix.

Any problems or concerns get a sparky in to check, in the grand scheme of things an hour of a sparkles time would be money well spent either to change socket or advise on a way forward. Would also put your mind at rest.
