is this spec any good?

8GB DDR3 1333mhz memory

Asus M4N68T V2 motherboard

1GB Nvidia gefore 8400GS

AMD 64 phenom 2 quad core 955+ 3.2ghz

planning on keeping existing hard drive & case etc

Ive been looking at this ,

I would have no idea about building one, what fits what or goes with this, and cases and all that etc,

my limit is maybe changing a RAM stick or a DVD drive, thats my knowledge Im afraid. :|

i used to build computers a long time ago (probably 10+ years ago). can still build them, just never kept upto date with the technology, so no idea whats good, old, about to be replaced etc

You going for the windows version Steps?? :slap

TBH what with Ebuyer, Dell, etc it's hardly worth building your own (money wise) unless you want a specific spec

but, is it any good?

some of you techies should know, :C

Might be worth looking at this if you are into Games of course (if you only web and email then a 30 bob PC will do)

Asrock Z68 PRO3 Socket 1155 8 Channel HD Audio ATX.. | Ebuyer.com

with

Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz Socket 1155 6MB Cache.. | Ebuyer.com

stick 4-6Gb and you will have a ultra qiuck PC, room for overclocking, will last 2-3 years, and likely only need to look at a new Graphics card after 18months

Start with this maybe Sapphire HD 6770 1GB GDDR5 DVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E.. | Ebuyer.com
