New house; remove 20A induction hob, install 2A gas hob

Hello,
So I have removed an induction hob by disconnecting the 20A cable. I have installed a gas hob, which has a 2A connection for the electronic spark lighter. What do I need to buy, to connect the 20A cable to the 2A cable (fused, I assume) ? I don't want to simply connect the cables together, obviously. Any suggestions for a product is appreciated. Thanks. Or am I going the wrong way about this ?

Yes, there is - I've attached pics to the OP. However, the isolator switch also powers the oven - which obviously needs 20 or 30 A...

Good heavens No - The 20A cable was straight into the induction hob. I removed the hob, unscrewed the 20A cable - that left me with 3 bare wires, and I wanted to turn the house power back on - so I simply attached each wire to a separate junction box myself, to isolate them in a hurry. (I found the 20A wire was quite thick, and didn't easily fit into each connector, so I just used 3 - one for each wire !)

I am thinking of a putting a normal household plug with 3A fuse onto the hob wire. Then, screw a twin wall-mounted socket inside the cupboard carcass and connect the 20A cable to that, and then easily plug the hob in. It would work, but I'm not a professional - what are your thoughts ?

Okay - I hadn't heard of 30ma RCD protection before, so I looked it up. Any particular brand / type ? A web link would be much appreciated to get a better understanding ... I found this on EBay - is this the sort of thing ?

Thanks Poni and Dave ( btw: love the plumbers quote: "Don't sleep with a drip, call me instead" ) - so I take that 20A cable into a new wall socket that I screw to the wall (ie a spur) and simply put a normal household plug (3A fuse) on the end of the hob cable, right ?

Should consider a CU change, possible to an all RCBO unit.

I have to ask, why change from Induction to an inferior gas hob??
