New shower

Hello Guys,

Just been round to look at a job for a new shower. Customer was using a mixer but due to large family was running out of hot water so want electric shower. BUT they had there bathroom tiled last year and don't really want to knock them off for me to chennel the wall, just wondering if anyone knew of any showers that can be wired in using surface mount through some plastic conduit as I've always run the cable in from behind and chanelled wall out.

you could just trunking for any shower. there is normally a pipe entrance at the top - you cna use this (providing the pipe doesnt)

You have the shower unit, plumbing and electrical in the loft and you just have a single chrome pipe coming down from the ceiling!!

Then you just mount the remote controller wherever you want!

AFAIK, all electric showers can be plumbed & wired surface or concealed in wall.

Just a short drop of white PVC trunking probably easiest and neatest to tuck a bit of 10.0mm into.

Thanks guys, only done one shower - my own, but got a couple in the "pipeline" once I have done my ELECSA assesment in next month and when I did mine I ran it in from behind and checked my shower and no entry at the top. On this job the pipeing will be surface mounted and going in at the bottom so I can send the cable in at the top.

Yeah most showers have entry for cable and pipe. As said some T2 down from loft and seal up with silcone .

If there is no knock out, make your own. Anything is adaptable if your clever enough.
