I used to find the fat/ugly ones very accomodatingThe obsession with the NICEIC is quite amusing amongst some members. It is like calling the girl of their dreams ugly and fat because you cannot get with her. :innocent :innocent :innocent
I've had the fit birds, and I've had a few mooses, but as for paying good money to join a club that can't or should I say won't police itself then no thanksThe obsession with the NICEIC is quite amusing amongst some members. Blimey NIC just enrolled the 19,000 member !!!
At £400 pa thats £ 7,6000,000. Thats even more than Stepps earns :innocent
As opposed to the NICEIC being hell bent on making sure all the paperwork is in order, and you have just spent another £300 on books on how to install an outside light they missed out in the last book, Stroma are more into your workmanship, wanting certs upfront, details on your apprenticeship, qualifications etc.Whats involved then Stepps , I thought they were a iy more easy going for some reason. ?
Although theres quite a long list of requirements for ELECSA / NIC . As I said earlier they even checked out my mains tester .
They never ask about the warranty stuff , which I've ignored since day one TBH
Asked to go online to the ELESA site and checked if I was notifying stuff, I noticed.
Yes it probably is , I was going by the ELECSA DI scheme .I thought NICEIC membership was much more than that......
Oh No! They're not gonna look at your work are they ?As opposed to the NICEIC being hell bent on making sure all the paperwork is in order, and you have just spent another £300 on books on how to install an outside light they missed out in the last book, Stroma are more into your workmanship, wanting certs upfront, details on your apprenticeship, qualifications etc.
Assessment next Tues, will see how it goes.
