Lurch/Ian yep your right as usuall, damm i thought i was correct for once
Sorry fella.Lurch/Ian yep your right as usuall, damm i thought i was correct for once
as others have said i just tend to fit fire rated if i am supplying, this is because i have found a brand i am happy with and they happen to be fire rated. i have not tried a million different brands (far from it )but click fire gaurd seem decent enough, big terminals, 2 cable entry and abouthe says they are in the lounge and there is carpet upstairs with fitted funiture, so i guess this is a bedroom.if this was a rewire you would fit firerated, so if the customer did not want them changed you would note on the cert that they were not firerated.

concureThat's fine, not a problem doing that. But you wouldn;t mark it down on a cert just because you only happen to fit fire rated fittings.
