Evening all, quick question, doing a CU change at the moment on an installation with several unearthed lighting circuits. Following the risk assessment outlined in the ESC Best Practice Guide regarding use of Class 1 luminaires and accessories etc... However the guide recommends warning labels - can't find any of these at my usual suppliers - anyone know if they are available or do I need to knock some up on the labelling machine?

Thanks, what a kind offer! Which wholesaler did you get them from? If I can't get a supply I might take up your offer. Cheers.

I Unfortunatly used cef ( the only good thing to come from them !) he he but it varies from branch to branch Pm me if you need some

If you've got a version of Microsoft Publisher, I can email you a file so you can print your own. In fact, if anyone else is interested, I will upload it to the forum "downloads" section. I Knocked it up in Publisher 2000 so it should work on most later versions, too.

I will upload a copy to my website, with a link, so people can see what it looks like.

Back in ten minutes....

OK, I've cleared the link..

And cleared the link to my "Two-colour wiring" label

Both of these files are now available in the downloads section.

Sorry, people, I've just tried to add the file to the downloads section but, unfortunately, Publisher files are not amongst the accepted file types for upload.

If anybody wants the file, PM me with your email address. It wont be tonight, now, but from tomorrow morning I will be on it.

What a twit. Because it's on my website, you just need to click "save" when you follow the link. It's late, and the wine was ....

Thanks for going to the trouble guys, I think though if I can't get them locally I'll just order them from the Label People. Can't believe I actually looked at their site and didn't see them listed...

Zip it up and then you'll probably be able to put it in the downloads
No, wouldn't work. The only files allowed are .doc .docx .rft .txt .wpd .wps .pdf .wks .xls .xlsx.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I can see some security implications with certain types of file but, then, .doc etc and macros come to mind so the risks are still there...

I could have sworn that someone had already uploaded one? Thought it was "the doctor", but I can't seem to find it. :(

Anyway, I have enabled the extra files to uploaded. But; Spring, even if you could not upload them - you are also able to enter the URL of the site that contains the download.

Keeps them all in one place, in the downloads. :)

Naturally, I would prefer everyone to have a look at our sponsors' site The Label People in the first instance and show your support for them supporting us, by purchasing from them.

I have and will continue to do so.

Many Thanks,

Admin.

PS. I think the one that I saw (I know I have it on one of my external hard drives) is the one where you stick to or near the CU and write in what ccts do not have a cpc.

I've edited an earlier post to clear the links to my website.

Both files are now available in the downloads section.
