odd question

Think bathrooms. You know, the room with a bath or shower. Yes?

Now. Think "shower on the wall over the bath". Still here? Good.

"Shower screen" - the folding glass doo-dah?

Little bitty rubber seal thingy that sits between the screen and the bath?

Usually comes in 1M lengths?

I`ve got a customer I do a lot of sparking for, who has eleven (all the same) screens, 1200mm in length, that need these bits of rubber. So I want to buy a "roll" of the stuff.

Any thoughts?

n.b. I`ve got a bit here. imagine a round blob approx 3.5mm dia; with a tiny rubber "blade" sticking down 4-5mm.

Hi There,

Glad you got the right stuff!!!! Is a right pain trying to get stuff sometimes, half the stuff you could get years ago they do not even sell anymore..

They go on about "recycling" and not wasting stuff, but everything modern is designed not to be repairable, and is basicly supposed to be just, "disposable" cars being a prime example....

Terribly wasteful....My main vehicle, [laugh if you want!!] is a 22 year old renault 19 that has done 223 thousand miles. It still does 58 to the gallon on a run, [steady 50mph!] does not use any oil, and is great!!

Ok, i have put an awful lot of effort into maintaining it, but i hate to throw good things away!!

Waste not want not!!!

Ah, I see your mistake

you have been looking for a 'big blob and a blade'....but the actual seal you have come up with is 'a big blob with a blade AND THEN a little blob'....a simple mistake to make when delving into the murky world of rubber!!!
