old type circuit breakers?

Just come across an old type circuit breaker in friends house, ( not fuses) but theres no way of knowing circuit sizes 6amp 32 amp etc theres just nothing to indicate this

any ideas?

should be wrote on the front. if its rubbed off, check the sides (may be marked there). otherwise replace it

What make of consumer unit is it ?

also, some are marked with the rating on the toggle switch. and some have colour coded toggle switches

Metalcald unit by chance and the breakers are big brown things with small switches ? ex-council house maybe ?
