Hi guys,

I'm about to install some outdoor architectural wall spotlights. As the wall is painted white and the only solution I've got is to clip the cable on the wall, I was wondering if there's any white cable that I can use considering the external influences and UV protection?

I know black rubber cable is ok but it won't look nice on a white wall...

Any suggestion?

Cheers

White cable is a definite no-no IMHO....

as was discussed on another thread you can get await with some short runs of grey T&E on walls out of direct sunlight...

Or as you suggest black has the better UV protection...

Daft....(ish) question.

If the wall is painted white......

Why can't you just paint over the cable as well after you have fixed it?

How long is the run on the wall?

how high off the ground?

vertical / horizontal run?

It's about 2 1/2 meters off the ground and it'll run both vertical and horizontal.
