Many years ago before the internet was on phones i was working in Buckinghamshire. We saw a crazy looking creature, and a local told us,

'thats a Glis Glis, its an edible door mouse'

we thought he was winding us up.

The following weekend with the help of dial up internet and a 486 PC, it was confirmed 'Glis Glis , edible door mouse'

Hold on .....can we backtrack here somewhat ?  

Now we all know that there are some strange things about Kerching but .................   the phrase  " it was kerching who indroduced the pangolin to me " is not something I'd expect to hear in everyday conversation . :C :C
