Have any of you guys got these for conduit?? I'm thinking of making one up with some 6inch soil pipe and some 8mm rod. Does it damage PVC conduit and trunking with it bashing around??

I can just fit 3m conduit in the van but taking it in and out to get at things gets it hellish dirty.

It should be fine but I would use the Rhino gear that you can find on the dark side (SF) :p AndyGuinness

Sellers , I keep metal sheathing, threaded rod and PVC conduit up my pipe . The conduit does become scuffed TBH . but its just a couple of lengths to get me out of the brown stuff . Usually tie a bundle on the rack.

172quid!!!

I'll stick to my soil pipe and fittings, about 30quid.

You must be on a good earner down your end.

I use soil pipe and it is fine until you lose the screw cap and 4 lengths of steel conduit shoot all over the road with 3 lots of MT2 trunking. Had to jump out and stop all traffic while I cleared the road. Must learn not to accelerate so aggressively.Blushing

i used a length of 6" pipe a while back. back cover was held in place by shock cord, so never went anywhere. bit of round wood screwed at the front end held everything in place
