The earthing to the building is TN-C,Cabins are being powered up via a temp supply from a socket for the purpose of the testing as no FEPS generator available to power them up.

Have a seperate earth temp connected to the steel girder.

being able to follow a drawing simply proves your eyesight works.
And it wasn't a case of reading a drawing more of a case of designing the said circuit then doing a drawing then making the control panels actually then installing and commisioning it on the job.

Well that's what iv'e been told as we don't have any information other than what we are told by the ppl who maintain the electrics of the site but i will clarify that by a phone call to them it is more than likely i've been given the wrong info and it is a tn-c-s.

We can't even do anythink in the building electrically we have to notify them for everythink .

Let me just clarify the situation i'm in a workshop the cabins are brought in from various bases to have repair work and any modifications that are required on them done.

They powered up from a FEPS generator when out on deployment.

With no geny available on site it's straight in to the board from a socket

So it's geny to 3pin 16 amp socket VOLECB main switch to dist board main switch then 2 6amp rcd's and one 16 amp rcd both type B.

let me just clarify something to you,

you cannot legally do any form of repair or test on an electrical system without knowing the earthing system.

though you can quite freely bull**** all you want about something you quite obviously know **** all about without any regard to human life whatsoever.
