just wondering what kind of prices u all charge for testing and inspecting?

do u charge per way?

or per board not matter what size.

i usually do 110 pound for it all?

but my napit bloke told me i was charging to cheap and should up my prices.

i only charge 120 a day at 15 a hour,

but i need work as do everyone else so dont want to b to dear

 
Well thats just my opinion guys , but you can't really be self employed on the same money you would earn when employed, it just doesn't work. I assume you have overheads like the rest of us , vehicle , road tax,insurance ,fuel, scam provider, tools, liability, re-calibs etc.

Deke, it is your own personal circumstances as well, and they often exceed the running costs of being self employed.

There's also the matter of what you're worth, some sparks aren;t that clued up so shouldn;t be charging as much as others who actually know what they're doing.

I've yet to see one topic on this forum stay on topic, and also the question was about pricing from the thread title, so points on working out what you are worth would be on topic.
