Once the coating has dried, PVStop can be easily peeled off by hand. The coating does not contain any adhesives and does not damage solar panels in any way. The coating can be peeled off up to 12 months after being applied even when exposed to UV and other weather elements. (from PVstop).

The material should not be allowed to contaminate water courses, so I hope there is no extensive use of water near this material... :Outofdepth:

Still, overall a good idea to "switch off" solar panels.

I suppose for standard roof size systems putting a salvage sheet over the panels or emptying a foam extinguisher over the panels would achieve the same, as I don't imagine these will be issued yet to most of the wagons on the run.
