A capicator of 100 micro f is connected in parallel with a 20 ohm pure resistor, The group is connected to a 200v 50Hz supply,calculate the power?

i would have no probs if the two were set up in series , cant work this one out! cheers for any help

i will post the answer later ,just in case some of you want to have a go

ive found out how to get the answer and posted it just in case it may be a level 3 exam question ,simple P=Vsquared/resistance P= 200squared/20
