hello mate it seems the rabbit has eaten some peace lilly

rang the vet, she said its toxic in cats and rabbits and in cats you can make it sik and put it on a drip but you cant do that to a rabbit

so is it just a case of wait and see.

might have ate as much as 6 leaves

can you give any advise thanks

I think it's a case of wait and see!

There's no specific treatment and you can't make bunnies vomit.

The lilly heads are the most toxic part.

Thanks will do.

do you know how long it will take to show any signs if it has affected her?

Few days to a week. Would likely affect kidneys. Found on the internet a quote that 'toxic only if large quantities ingested'.

Fingers crossed for you. I'd say bunnies more robust than cats!

thanks for the advice and its been a while and the rabbit seems fine, but the little sod trys to eat everything and anything, girlfriends had rabbits befor and they usually arnt intrested in things they should not eat
