I too have been 'twitching' at getting one of the new notebooks (the skinny little burger) BUT I have heard that one is better off with the larger brother unless size and weight is important.

Agreed - the imac is truly awesome and leaves Windows based PC's out in the cold. Its fast, it does what is meant to do in that it does what YOU want it to do. It starts up quickly and it closes down quickly. Best of all it is SO intuitive.

Another good thing is u can dual boot the imac machines if u ever need (not bloomin likely ) microsoft windows install xp etc. and run both on same machine ... cracking idea .
