I am very tempted by that offer as a backup to my fluke so I would also be interested the the OPs question. How do these stack up against flukes and meggers? I am not expecting to throw it down stairs and out of lofts (like I have with my fluke) but is fairly reliable at doing loop tests without tripping RCDs or complaining too much about noise etc?

Also, is there any way of fitting a strap to it? Otherwise I might well be throwing down stairs and out of lofts.......

It seems reasonably reliable if i go on the 100 or so we have sold, No strap I,m afraid, No trip Loop seems OK again judging by the lack of comments we have had to the contrary, doesn't carry out insulation at more than 500v
